About me.

I am a basket maker by trade and have my own business website at www.clappsbaskets.co.uk.

I learnt to write simple webpages many years ago and have written sites for spinning and weaving guilds and a basketmaking group. I believe that the internet is a great place for people to share information and ideas as well as being a great place to showcase craft work. By its very nature a webpage can also be kept up to date with your most recent news or pictures of work and I think that no matter how small a group or business you are, a website is a really useful asset to have. I like to keep my pages simple and unflashy. This enables people to find the information on your website quickly and easily and the pages are quick to download.

I live in Sawston in Cambridgeshire and have two young children, Charlie and Emilia. Having worked as a solicitor for five years, I gave up office work when my son was born and have used the opportunity to develop my website creation and basketmaking businesses.
