Weaving a Web - Website creation

Examples of websites I have written:

	oakswills.co.uk This is Owen Jones' website. Owen Jones is one of the only oak swill basket makers in the country and has appeared on BBC television's 'Victorian Farm' demonstrating his unique basketmaking skills. Owen wanted a website to raise his profile and to enable potential customers to see examples of his baskets and know where and how to buy them.  He runs workshops in various locations and attends fairs throughout the year. The website collates all this information. This saves Owen the need to respond individually to general enquiries of this sort, as customers can be directed to the website for all the information they require.
	clappsbaskets.co.uk This is the Clapp's Baskets website. This website is a commercial site for a traditional basketmaker. The 'Products' page shows examples of Eleanor Clapp's products together with prices, and the 'Commissions' page shows examples of the more unusual bespoke baskets she has made. The 'Contact me' page allows propective clients to contact her directly with enquiry's regarding commissions and demonstrations.
	midherts-spinning.org.uk This is the webpage for the Mid-Herts Guild of Spinners Weavers and Dyers. The webpage provides information about the Guild and a record of the events the Guild has done. It has proven to be a useful way for prospective new members to find out about the Guild, before coming along to a meeting.
	hertsbasketry.org.uk This is the website for  the Hertfordshire Basketry group. Apart from providing information about the group for prosepective members, it also provides a pictorial record of some of the more interesting workshops and trips the group has undertaken.
	A Wedding Website This is a website to mark a couple's special day. Before the day it can provide useful information for guests and news about plans for the day. Afterwards, the page can display a selection of photographs from the day, providing a quick and easy way to share pictures with friends and family both abroad and across the country.
	A Personal Website This is an example of a personal webpage providing brief details about the individual and their work and hobbies. The website links to a number of the individuals favorite sites. It can also provide up-to-date news and pictures of family etc.
